Gift of Wings

Hi, my name is Les Bryan.
Welcome to my webpage.

I live in Evansville, Indiana and I work in digital imaging for the local newspaper.

When I was 19 years old I started flying in a Cessna 150.
It wasn't long before my instructor introduced me to my first
"taildragger", a 7AC Champ.

From that point on, I was hooked.

I've posted some of my favorite pictures on this site.

N3581V
Here is a picture of me and my airplane,
N3581V.

Flying Home Flying back home across the Appalachian Mountains.
These mountain peaks were at 3,500 feet. No place to land!
I have great faith in Continental!

history Together again, 48 years later!
A great day in history, N3580V on the left and N3581V on the right.
These airplanes went down the assembly line together in 1948.
80V is owned by Howard Hilton, the New York state rep of the 120/140 Association.
81V is owned by myself, Les Bryan, the Indiana rep.
(This picture was taken at 1995's national convention, at Boyne Mountain, Michigan)

Flying Home Again This is my airplane in June of 1982. You've come a long way, baby.

Flying Home Again Sunset flight taken over Charlevoix, Michigan.
This is a shot of Scott Spenser, from Bedford, Indiana off of my right wing.
He won the trophy in 1995 for the Most Modified 140.
We had a great time at the Convention.
(Thanks, Scott, for getting us home.)
